Eat Wild Restaurant Cirencester

About Eat Wild Cirencester

Gloucestershire born brothers William and Culum Thompson had a vision; to bring real food to real people at real prices by harvesting, cooking and retailing sustainably sourced wild meat and game. In 2010 they founded EAT WILD and are excited to announce the launch of their first EAT WILD restaurant in their home town of Cirencester.

The new restaurant boasts a delectable menu of “dirty food” done well, with ‘Wild Venison Burger in a Hobbs House Brioche Bun’, ‘Gloucester Old Spot Pulled Pork Roll’, and Eat Wild’s signature ‘Buttermilk Fried Cotswold Chicken’ to whet your appetite.

Every dish is made with the finest, wholesome ingredients and as game is proven low in fat and cholesterol yet high in protein, it’s really far from dirty!

The décor of the restaurant is almost as spectacular as the food, taking on a mix of old English country pile meets urban London warehouse. The two rutting stags sprayed by Visual Drop provide an electric backdrop to the space, with taxidermy from local artist Kate Latimer filing every corner of the intimate restaurant. The Thompson brothers are all about attention to detail from their food through to the service, and this is notable in the interior too.

All produce served in the restaurant is sourced, where possible, from the Cotswolds extending down to the beautiful south west of England. EAT WILD ensure all their meat is of the highest standards and responsibly sourced. Intent on working with local producers, all the buns are freshly delivered from the Baker Brothers Hobbs House Bakery just a couple of doors down.
