Cheltenham Bach Choir 70th Birthday Concert – a choral celebration

Come and join Cheltenham Bach Choir in celebrating their 70th Anniversary with this summer concert of favourite choral works! With music chosen for its special significance to the choir, the programme ranges from Handel and Mozart through Holst and Vaughan Williams to the present day, in works commissioned by the choir from Carl Rütti and local composer, Freya Ireland. Enjoy a selection of favourites from the haunting ‘Libera me’ of Verdi’s ‘Requiem’ to the celebratory joy of Parry’s ‘I was glad’. And, of course, some stunning Bach to round it all off.

Don’t miss this summer’s evening musical treat, right in the heart of Cheltenham!
